Director Zack Snyder is doing everything he can to whip up a frenzy of excitement heading into the 2017 release of Justice League. Such as leaking out via Twitter a still image of Ben Affleck's new get up for the Caped Crusader. Trimmed down from his heavy-armored suit in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this alteration should give the character more mobility amid all the action sequences surely to take place.
Barely hours after releasing the tweet, Variety reports that the director's post has already garnered over 13,000 retweets and 18,000 likes with the caption reading, "Homestretch. Last day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit.
#JusticeLeague #Batman." Surely every Batsuit is tactical though, right?

Stripped Back Bruce Has To Be Better
The aesthetics of the Batsuit might appear like an aside, but they do end up becoming iconic features of the film. In the previous installment, Affleck's militarized outfit provided a stale, bulky and disguised character that offered no insight into his emotion as he labored from one scene to the next.
This "Tactical Batsuit" might be a nod to Christian Bale's Dark Knight, exposing the Bruce Wayne character more to the elements and utilizing his physical strength. But the night goggles are something unique. Some might even say that they bare a striking resemblance to Night Owl from Watchmen, a film that Snyder also happened to direct.
Joker To Play No Part In Justice League Despite Rumors
According to reports from /Film, Jared Leto will be sitting out of Justice League as it hits cinemas on November 17, 2017. Insider Umberto Gonzalez took to Twitter to state categorically that the green-haired menace will be cooling his heels as DC tries to integrate The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Cyborg and a host of other spin off characters into the one feature.
Sorry DC fanboys. Yesterday's rumor that surfaced about Jared Leto being in JUSTICE LEAGUE? Unfortunately, not true. #DEADED

However, while Leto and his Suicide Squad compatriots are yet to be officially cast, cameo appearances cannot be ruled out. Given what occurred at the end of the credits for the Squad this year, DC will want to give fans a taste of things to come as the comic book heroes and villains eventually cross paths on the big screen.
