Deadpool 2 News: New Poster In Works As Blind Al Returns

One of the great aspects of the superhero genre is the passion that flows through from the filmmakers themselves. Individuals like Rob Liefeld don't only have a strong influence in production. But in their spare time they are super fans of the material.

Ahead of Deadpool 2, the comic book creator and illustrator has shared some of the best fan art emerging from the Internet. Seeing Josh Brolin's Cable and Zazie Beetz's Domino appearing next to the Merc with the Mouth. While these images give a hint at what could be seen on the big screen in the coming months, Liefeld stressed that nothing posted on his account has been given the official tick of approval. As the studio are still deliberating on a release date and shooting schedule for the picture.

Giving credit to the likes of Salman Artworks and BossLogic for their stunning pieces of work that wets the appetite, the introduction of the new characters also happens to lay the groundwork for the upcoming X-Force movie. What is sure from these creations is that screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese with director David Leitch have no shortage of content in which to seek inspiration from.

Brolin Takes Breathing Hiatus For Thanos Role

Whoever said Hollywood millionaires have the easiest job in the world? Josh Brolin is certainly earning his keep at the moment as production steps up a notch ahead of Avengers: Infinity War. Playing the supervillain Thanos before shifting gears for the Deadpool sequel, the actor posted a couple of images in the makeup chair. As he somehow attempts to read script notes behind a wall of purple paint and white plastering.

"Oh, you thought the other one was gnarly," he wrote. "Ha! #discipline #billcorso #nomoreeffincookies #citoratsuperhero#breathingisforpussies @bcorso."

It's comforting to know that Marvel are not utilizing CGI 100% for the part.

Audience Gets To See What Blind Al Cannot For Sequel Comeback

Deadpool Blind Al

One of the best features in Deadpool was Ryan Reynolds' beloved roommate Blind Al and fortunately, the sight impaired companion will return for the sequel. Played by 73-year old Leslie Uggams, the character gave as good as she got from the superhero, putting him to shame on a couple of occasions.

Being the only person who would not, or could not judge Wade Wilson over his appearance, the two were a modern day Odd Couple. There is a beefed up cast with some heroes making a comeback like Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Colossus and Dopinder the cab driver, but Blind Al is pure comic gold.
