Batman and Wonder Woman React To Thor: Ragnarok Trailer

Sad Affleck is becoming an all too common occurrence for the Hollywood superstar. This time his screen viewing for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been flipped following the release of the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, seeing Bruce Wayne look on in bemusement at the upcoming Marvel blockbuster.

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman was not spared either, closing her laptop in frustration. While her standalone title gets first billing on June 2, Chris Hemsworth's third installment will air 2 weeks ahead of Justice League. All as Marvel looks to steal as much of DC's thunder as possible come November 3.

Ragnarok Breaks 24-Hour Trailer Record

According to THR, the short for Thor: Ragnarok hit an incredible 136m views in the opening 24 hours since the release dropped online. Parent company Disney will ensure that this translates to box office taking as it beat out some hefty competitors in the trailer stakes.

Including a wicked old school soundtrack from Led Zeppelin, the blockbuster overtook the likes of Beauty and the Beast with 127.6m, Star Wars: The Force Awakens with 112m and Captain America: Civil War with 94m. Tapping into a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe, the Thor v Hulk showdown should be worth the wait.

YouTube User Parodies Way Before His Time

Although YouTube user It’s Just Some Random Guy would of had some information at hand in March of 2007 about Marvel and DC's plans, they could not have forecast how close to the mark they would be a decade later. Spoofing the “I’m a Mac and I’m a PC” commercial, the video aired not long after the 2006 flop Superman Returns.

"It's good to be back. It's been a while but we've got plenty of projects lined up." Asked about Wonder Woman and the Flash returning, Superman replied, "You may see that one eventually. You never know, might be some time in the next few years. Keep your ears open. And we've just asked our writers to think about the possibility of what it might take to theoretically make a Justice League movie in the next 10 years or more perhaps."

Spider-Man was equally as bullish.

"Actually we are working on new Iron Man and Hulk and Ant-Man movies. And then once we've finished the Captain America and Thor movies, we'll follow up with an Avengers movie. Not to mention negotiating for three more of my movies, and more Wolverine and Magneto spinoffs from X-Men... Oh hey, I heard they just cast Two Face in the next Batman movie (The Dark Knight). That is sweet man." After a long pause, the Man of Steel remarked, "Everybody loves Batman..."
