Animation Hotline is a series of daily animations in which the director uses messages left on his voice-mail for content. He gave the phone number out to some friends and told them that they could leave anything they wanted. Initially the phone number was a 212 area code number, and he was hoping the stories would be 'New York' stories, but after working with the project for a while he realized that the more messages he received the more he had to choose from, and in the end, the more interesting the project would become. He has since opened it up to an international skype number, published the number throughout the internet and on blogs, and has set up a direct dial 'hotline' phone in a gallery where people can instantly leave a message.
