In the year 2154, a group of young men and women awake in a dark claustrophobic maze. They don't remember who they are or how they got stuck in the Black Labyrinth of Andron. The group must learn to decipher codes, understand the signals and beat the tests in this mysterious and bizarre place. Out of necessity they struggle to form a bond to survive, while the outside world watches and wagers on their fate.
Considering that Alec Baldwin has developed a reputation for playing immoral, but charming men of power, his role in Andron - The Black Labyrinth seems fitting.
One thing the Andron - The Black Labyrinth trailer could have left out was the opening scene showing the rocket ship taking off; as the CG looks terrible. The quality of effects does improve, however, throughout the trailer's running time, but one can't help think that this film looks more made-for-TV than any sort of theatrical release.
What we find most impressive is that the project was able to land both Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover. Their roles seem to take a backseat to the adventure to be seen, but they are there nonetheless.
