Foreign trailer for An Ordinary Execution.

Marc Dugain’s An Ordinary Execution imagines the final days of Josef Stalin, whose last years were marked by anti-Semitic policies and purges. After ordering the execution of his Jewish doctor, the murderous dictator (French leading man André Dussollier) summons a young nurse with healing powers to treat his escalating aches and pains. Entering the private sanctum of Stalin’s menacing Kremlin milieu, an apprehensive Anna (Marina Hands, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly) weathers the paranoid ranting and ramblings of the old tyrant, fearing at any moment that she or her husband (Édouard Baer) might be killed or exiled to a Gulag.
