On the small island of Als, off the Danish coast, Vincent Moon lands with the band Efterklang, which during its formation expanded to eight members. Als is a very welcoming community, as more than 200 local musicians, more or less improvised, take part in a performance an album long. A trip to an island that plays and listens, in a film that plays on the abstraction of image and sound and the concreteness with which they reverberate in the places and souls of a small Baltic community.
