Brad Pitt must be a fan of World War II. This will be his fourth movie from that era: Inglourious Basterds, Beyond All Boundaries, and Fury. This will also be Marion Cotillard's second World War II film: Lisa.

In Allied, Brad Pitt is reunited with a couple actors he has worked with before. Brad Pitt and Jared Harris have previously worked together on three movies: Ocean's Twelve and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Brad also previously worked with August Diehl in Inglourious Basterds.

Alan Silvestri is the composer the film. Alan is best known for his frequent collaboration with friend and film legend Robert Zemeckis. Silvestri has worked on many many films such as Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Forrest Gump, Captain America: The First Avenger and Marvel's The Avengers.

Well Paramount Pictures could not ask for better marketing on this film. Amid the unfortunate divorce scandal between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Brad's name is everywhere in the entertainment news. And then on top of that there were rumors that Brad possibly cheated on Angelina with Marion (his co-star in this film), gives the film even more eyes. Hollywood is a tough career and everything you do in your personal life is scrutinized. I feel bad for Brad and Angelina but Paramount is loving the free publicity.

With that being said, I am glad we finally get a full trailer to give us a better idea of what we are in for with this film. There is much more of a thriller aspect here than I was expecting. Is his wife Marianne (Marion Cotillard) a traitor or not?

This would be a tough predicament to put any husband in, the woman he loves may not be who she says she is. Wait...sounds early similar to Mr. and Mrs. Smith where Brad's wife in the film (Angelina Jolie, who he then falls in love with) is a secret agent too.

For some reason I am too keen on Brad's acting in this film, but the story line seems compelling and I am intrigued.
