The first animated Aladdin came out 26 years ago on November 25, 1992. The original Aladdin film has raked in over $217 Million just at the box office. If you then add in all the merchandising and sequels...this was a huge cash machine for Disney.
I am still not a fan of all of these remakes of the classic Disney animated films. This one is going to be especially difficult since it is the first they are attempting that had such an amazing soundtrack. Not only that I cannot imagine how they are going to fill Robin Williams shoes with the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I am eager to hear his voice as Genie for the first time, hopefully in the next full trailer.
