A Quiet Place will be John Krasinski's second time in the Director's chair. The first film was The Hollars, starring Anna Kendrick, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Krasinski, Sharlto Copley, Charlie Day, Richard Jenkins, Margo Martindale, Mary Kay Place, Randall Park and Josh Groban.
Which means that John Krasinski has now had a role in all the films he has Directed.
Stars John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are married in real life and A Quiet Place will be the first time the two have been in a movie together.
Very little of the plot for A Quiet Place has been known and even though we have our first at the horror film, we still only know a little about it. The official plot synopsis that has been released so far is just the film's tagline: "If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you." But I guess this along with what we saw in the trailer at least gives us how the "monster" has not yet killed this lovely family.
But we still have many more questions than answers...which could be a good thing. This is simply a great tease for a horror that has a unique twist to the scary monster film genre, a monster that cannot kill you if it cannot hear you. What is the "monster" and what happened to create this crazy situation on planet Earth?
