This movie looks like it's an excuse for special effects. Sure special effects are cool, but I would have loved to see the story from the Mayan's view. I feel like this is two Americanized if you know what I mean.

This movie looks like it could be an Oscar winner. I hope Peter Jackson pulls it off! The book is good and he did a good job on Lord of the Rings. I'm seeing this one for sure.
