It is as if the Hollywood has never READ a Sherlock Holmes story. In it, Holmes is described in bodily appearance and grooming habits, no matter what seems to happen, fasticiously clean a s cat." At least, Brett, had the decency to have the various character traits of Holmes, Watson, and Mrs. Hutson, and other essential characters, written up for the writers and actors to follow, giving authenticity to their version of Sherlock Holmes. When will Hollywood learn: The Brits do a much better job at period-piece recreations.
