I feel like they're trying to make up for the shitfest that we got in the last movie by attempting to take themselves more seriously. I don't have extremely high hopes for this, but if they did it right, it could possibly be the best of the series. As long as it isn't as painfully corny as #4, I'm good. This series is my guilty pleasure so I'll definitely be seeing it.
