You would go to see The Last Airbender, a film directed by M. Night Shyamalan instead of seeing a movie based on a popular board game directed by Peter Berg? yeah that says alot about your taste in movies. At least Peter Berg makes fun movies that are atleast watchable. Besides Sixth Sense and Signs, Shyamalan hasnt made anything good.

Sony should have stuck with Raimi and Maguire instead of a new cast. I enjoyed the previous 3, but Ill be skipping this one.

People on this board are dumber than a rock. I think the teaser trailer looks mighty fine to me. Its based loosely off the board game. Considering most of the movies we get today are simply based off Comic books, Novels or their remakes of older films, its nice to see something new like this.
People need to chill out and wait and see if the movie delivers. Peter Berg is a talented director and I'm sure this movie will turn out much better than any Transformers movie out their. People pay money to see that crap, but aren't willing to give movies like this a chance even when they look promising?

Ill eventually see this movie because I like everyone else liked the previous Batman installments. That said, this teaser was really weak and honestly didnt need to happen.. Sure it was better than the teaser for The Dark Knight, but this was still weak.

I love the JC version like many of us on this board. That said, I dont mind if they do a prequel to that film. Its not like its going to ruin the JC version. This is going to tell us how the Thing got to where it was at the beginning of the film in the JC version. Im excited to see this

As much as I am excited for this film simply because of Brad Bird, that trailer was pretty weak.
They should have used the MI theme in a better way instead of slapping some Eminem song only to get alittle MI theme near the end of the trailer. Hopefully Paramount does a better job with the next trailer.

Trailer for Savages.
Three-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Oliver Stone returns to the screen with the ferocious thriller Savages, featuring the all-star ensemble cast of Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Emile Hirsch and Demian Bichir. The film is based on Don Winslow's best-selling crime novel that was named one of The New York Times' Top 10 Books of 2010.
Laguna Beach entrepreneurs Ben (Johnson), a peaceful and charitable Buddhist, and his closest friend Chon (Kitsch), a former Navy SEAL and ex-mercenary, run a lucrative, homegrown industry—raising some of the best marijuana ever developed. They also share a one-of-a-kind love with the extraordinary beauty Ophelia (Lively). Life is idyllic in their Southern California town...until the Mexican Baja Cartel decides to move in and demands that the trio partners with them.
When the merciless head of the BC, Elena (Hayek), and her brutal enforcer, Lado (Del Toro), underestimate the unbreakable bond among these three friends, Ben and Chon—with the reluctant, slippery assistance of a dirty DEA agent (Travolta)—wage a seemingly unwinnable war against the cartel. And so begins a series of increasingly vicious ploys and maneuvers in a high stakes, savage battle of wills.

Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic-scaled action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Inspired by Hasbro's classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper's fiancée; Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper's older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper's crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone's superior (and Sam's father), Admiral Shane.
Berg directs this epic action-adventure also produced by Scott Stuber (Couples Retreat), Sarah Aubrey (The Kingdom), Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir of Hasbro (the Transformers franchise), along with Duncan Henderson (Master and Commander) and Jeffrey Silver (300). Trailer for Safe House.
Oscar winner Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds star in the action-thriller Safe House. Washington plays the most dangerous renegade from the CIA, who comes back onto the grid after a decade on the run. When the South African safe house he's remanded to is attacked by mercenaries, a rookie operative (Reynolds) escapes with him. Now, the unlikely allies must stay alive long enough to uncover who wants them dead. For the past year, Matt Weston has been frustrated by his inactive, backwater post in Cape Town. A "housekeeper" who aspires to be a full-fledged agent, the loyal company man has been waiting for an opportunity to prove himself. When the first and only occupant he's had proves to be the most dangerous man he's ever met, Weston readies for duty. Tobin Frost has eluded capture for almost a decade. One of the best ops men that the CIA's known, the ex-intelligence officer has given up assets and sold military intel to anyone with cash since he turned. From trading secrets to North Korea to aiding splinter cells, the damage he's done to the U.S. is immeasurable. And he's now back on the reservation with a secret. As soon as Frost is brought in for debriefing, mercenaries come and tear apart Weston's safe house. Barely escaping, the unlikely partners must discover if their attackers have been sent by terrorists or someone on the inside who will kill anyone standing in the way. Now it's up to Weston to figure out who he can trust before they're both eliminated from the game.
