Crock of **** plot, and I mean even for science fiction and the series itself Any good writer knows you don't explore these details. By itself there is absolutely no way that a handful of intelligent monkeys, that seemed to multiple with every shot in an environment that doesn't have more than a few in zoos and labs (and that doesn't even answer how they ALL became intelligent if not a virus) are going to bring the fall of humanity. Action and good looking CGI apes aside, just stupid.
