I felt that after the initial tension build-up, they drop the ball a little by just getting into the movie stuff. But the last half of the trailer looks nailbiting. Ghost horrors usually go one of two ways: scary or just over the top. This looks like it will follow in the steps of modern classic like The Others.

Oh dear, Megan really did hurt the Transformer receipts... All of you are complaining as if she is acting in some kind of Oscar-worthy script. It's a popcorn movie - I expect both Brolin and Malkovich are going to ham it up for our enjoyment. I only hope it's not too convoluted.

I dunno. The original was a nice, cheesy film. Either this trailer is just cut in a weird way (very likely) or they have made some big changes to the film. The military was a big deal in the first movie, but it seems lesser here. Would a 'serious' remake of a camp Seventies classic work? Also, how damn cliche do they have to be to use the Mad World song AGAIN? At least Timothy Oluyphant is in it - nice to see him in something again, Oh, and Mad World was originally a Tears For Fears song...

There are so many ghost horror stories these days, but we haven't had this kind of ghost comedy in a while. Reminds me of the eigites takes on this kind of thing. I think it'll be good and a bit nostalgic.
