I love the Sherlock Holmes novels, and the 80s television series with Jeremy Brett, and this trailer just depresses me. It really seems like they are sacrificing everything that Holmes is to make an action movie. And I am assuming the woman is Irene Adler, but appears to be both Holmes' love interest and about 15 years younger than him? It's all just so very wrong. Ugh.
