I really like the current trend of adapting the comic book medium to the silver screen. However this trailer is not going to promote this film IMHO. The audience has no idea or reference as to what is happening and so it just looks like a bunch of special effects with no plot line. For all I could tell it's another Uwe Boll adaptation of a video game. Add some more context with a little idea of the plot and it would improve some. It is not Cloverfield quality advertising. There is no mystery, nothing to be revealed here. Just a bunch of special effects for the uninitiated.
