So, Let's get one thing off the thable right now. Hollywood money guys are most un-original. This is a remake...with changes. But the premise is the same. The original was more in-line with the bool of the same title by Piers Anthony. It'salways interesting thatHollywood execs wwait 2 or 3 decades and resurrect a movie script, make changes, and remarket it. Truth be said, film making tech is much better now. I will see this movie, however, because I am a big fan of dystopian future and movies depicting such. This one appears to be more along that line. Goverment intrusion (Big Brother), Thought police, lack of personal freedom, mandated drugs, people are either inner/our party membrs or proles. I am sure this movie will allude or imply that our live in the future is shit, if you can get past the action sequences and focus on the background stuff. This film should make a load of money. The only question for me is big screen or Apple Itunes release?
