WOW! Nice touch with a revised BATWING + the showcasing of Heinz Field & the Pittsburgh Steelers with Ward & Co. (pictured as an original / generic football team and not the Steelers in this movie of course). Looks like there will be a really good back story... and a lot of chaos & terror... might make TDK look like elementary school or childs-play, WOW! Tom Hardy's BAIN may top Heath Ledger's JOKER for "Most Destructive Figure Mastermind" As well as... Anne Hathaway actually pulling this off... and not apart, looks great, if not fantastic. No fingers need crossing... In Nolan, We Trust Bring on July 20, 2012... I CAN'T WAIT!

Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, and Rachel McAdams = Smart & Sexy. It's really good to see such a great cast and fantastic director. I'm All Over This December 16th.

An... Apacalyptic-Narnia... (in a world where the creatures have parrished and the humans have entertained themselves, for themselves) No Thanks. March has never really been a good month for movies and MARCH of 2012 looks to be very and poor quality for movies next year.

If anything, this U.S. Release, to me, is a compliment to the Swedish Release. Obviously David Fincher has plenty of references to base his vision of these stories, he has the Original Releases. I'm sure if a popular U.S. movie (especially a Trilogy) was re-made (yes, re-made) from another film maker from another country, there would be some sort of out pouring for them NOT to do it, or some sort of boycott. There would be those that say the U.S. Release(s) were great, and it wasn't necessary for some other studio to do this. I like the Original Release as well and may even find it better than this, but I'll have to wait and see for myself... but I also don't mind seeing another film maker, especially a good one like David (Fincher), take a gander at telling a very popular story with his film style. BTW: After seeing the Original, from the looks of this trailer, David (Fincher) definitely is telling his story very closely to that of the Original. There are a lot of similar scenes depicted with the same results. This is a U.S. Release inspired by an Original Release, so yes, it is a re-make.

Most of Clint's (Eastwood) movies that I like, are mostly the ones with Mr. Eastwood in them, not the ones without. As for Leo... this looks good, but I'm guessing that this is NOT his best work (The Aviator, The Departed). Looks to be a genuine movie, but maybe not told so genuinely... looks like pieces of THE GOOD SHEPARD / PUBLIC ENEMIES / and NIXON all mixed in one. May Rent-Driven one, not a Theater-Driven movie, but Thank You Mr. Eastwood for believing in... Good Stories, Told Well.

The Shawshank Redemption is based on the Stephen King novella, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. The film stars Tim Robbins as Andy Dufresne and Morgan Freeman as Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding. The film portrays Andy's twenty years in the cruelty of Shawshank State Prison, a fictional penitentiary in Maine, and his friendship with Red, a fellow inmate.
