Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Red Band Trailer
(2:08)

Last Vegas
Teaser Trailer
(1:04)
time travelling? She was already in that one, the time traveller's wife, wasn't she? meh, I'd still see it maybe on dvd. I've never heard of gleeson but he looks pretty cool and I appriciate the fact that hollywood didn't just put channing tatum, robert pattinson, or ryan gosling or some other below 35 hunk in place of him. The only thing drawing me to this movie is nighy. I'll see everything and anything he's in ^^
About Time
International Trailer
(2:28)
i got a little worried when i saw what a large, famous cast this movie had (the last 2 movies that had this many famous faces, valentines day and new years eve, utterly bombed in theaters). But this completely decimated any doubts. It looks friggin fantastic! I can already see multiple oscar wins for this :)
The Butler
Trailer
(2:32)
this looks tense and very edge of your seat. and after the dissapointment that was cloud atlas, i'm glad hanks is back on his A game.
Captain Phillips
Trailer
(2:28)
never read the book series so i cant go off them but this trailer severely underwhelmed and dissapointed me. half of the trailer looked like a bad screensaver. kids being trained to fight off an invading alien race? yawn. wake me up when harrison ford joins star wars 7.
Ender's Game
Trailer
(2:00)
i was 90% excited to see this when i saw the teaser and as soon as they put shoot to thrill in it, my excitement shot up to like a million %. XD This looks friggin fantastic!
Red 2
Feature Trailer

I haven't seen the new spiderman either but perhaps I'll give it a try someday when I'm in the mood. The other thing about superman that I'm not such a big fan of is this: that he was born with superpowers. Sure he had to learn how and when to use them (ala Smallville) but he had them. I tend to lean more towards heroes that weren't born with superpowers, like Batman or Iron Man, who create their own superpowers. If someone is born with superpowers, they automatically think 'hey, i've got powers, i've gotta defend the world from evil and do good because it's my duty'. on the other hand, someone without superpowers has something happen to them (a near death experience like Iron Man or some traumatizing event like witnessing your parents' murder like Batman) to begin their superhero journey. ^^ i'll end my lecture there. I'll also add Incredible Hulk to the list of reboots that should be done. I just saw the Edward Norton one again on TV and while it's not too bad, I still would fly all the way to hollywood and beg for them to do a reboot with Mark Ruffalo. XD Apparently chris hemworths has another superpower: the ability to woo ladies (and men) or all ages. I was showing this trailer to one of my coworkers during lunch break and my boss (she is 47 and happily married with 3 kids) comes up behind us and watches it. at the end, said coworker is drooling his ass off over natalie portman while my boss is questioning me on who that blonde haired man was. upon saying his name, she's quiet for about 5 minutes (in which i start to worry) but then sighs and turns away 'good thing i'm married or they'd have to haul my stalker ass to jail to keep me away from him.' 0_0 said coworker and i nearly pissed our pants laughing.
Thor: The Dark World
Trailer

^^ Just made the mistake of showing this to the kids I babysit for (both girls, 12 and 10). Squealed so loud when they saw Chris, my ears are still ringing as I type this. To answer ur question, fela, superman has been done so many times. the most recent one in 2006 with routh I actually thought was pretty decent. so this, to me, just feels like another 'amazing-spiderman-andrew-garfield-unneeded-reboot' syndrome. Why reboot movies that were fine before? Why not reboot movies, superhero movies if you really must, that didn't do so well? Like fantastic four, daredevil, and electra? Or god forbid, just forgoe reboots altogether and do a movie about a completely new superhero that no one's done before. it just seems like everyone's trying to cash in on the superhero success by beating a dead horse.

I also just watched man of steel. funny how both of the main characters wear red capes, yet I'm ridiculously excited for this movie and man of steel i'm just sorta underwhelmed for.

We'd like our plot back, please. Kthxbye. ;_; Oh Jeff Bridges...why? You went from True Grit...to this? I know every actor/actress wants to just lay back and do a fun/plotless/Michael Bay movie sometime in their life. But why now, Jeff? The Dude does not abide. P.S. I'm having a real hard time concentrating with this ad for Koala Men's sex wear right next to where I'm typing...
