I have always loved these movies, and when I saw that they were making this one 3D I was super excited, then I saw that Ian McShane was in it, who I think is a genius (has anyone watched Deadwood?) With that being said, after watching the trailer I'm disappointed. Is it just me or does Jack Sparrow seem not himself, the likable thing about him was that he always appeared so well "loopy" he seems too lucid not to mention smiley, he's never really been a smiler more of a smirker, I dunno, maybe I love them so much that I'm over analyzing it.
