If you want to see the original, watch the cartoon series. Tim Burton makes adaptations of movies all the time and is brilliant at it. I'd rather see something completely new and different. I agree with most of the reasonable people on here; doesn't matter what they look like. Hell, even bugs bunny and daffy duck went through changes, but for the better. Be more open minded and less like Hitler.
