Since 1989, GIRI-DOOT (the leading adventure lovers’ association of Eastern India) has been organizing the Adventure Film Festival (only of its kind in India).
This Festival is a major contribution towards the international exchange and understanding. It is gratifying to see that this international exchange is becoming increasingly popular. This Festival promotes internationalization alongwith the voluntary cooperation of Indian and foreign film makers.
This year, the 20th International Adventure Film Festival will be held in Kolkata (Gorky Sadan) on 21 and 22 December 2010.
