Ok...lets start here. Will use the most recent Cartoon to Movie to come to Teathers.
Transformers, i bet some of you bitching here are the same ones thats bitched transformers would be bad, right? Bet you feel like asses when the movies was Good.
Now if any of you would bother to think clearly, and have a opened mind, you'd be able to understand somethings just dont transfer well to the big screen. So making a staright copy, you would have this silly over used CG movie with no real flow.
This movie is only taking the key points of Dragon Ball, Goku, some Balls, and a Bad Guy, and putting it in a Mondern era. Yes at first glance the cast is abit weak, but if you bothered to read up on it you'd know Stephen Chow of Kung Fu Hustle is Producing it and the help of Ben Ramsely who worte The Big Hit, and that movie was the Shit, Also 87 Eleven the guys who did the fights for The Matrix and 300 are leanding hands. This info can be found on the Wiki, but then there are Wiki haters too.
In the end all im trying to say is, sometimes you need to get a little knowledge about how movies work before you bash them, cause there are things that look good on Pen and Paper that dont on the Screen.
