I loved the movie! For the entire movie, all I could think was, "Oh my gosh, he his so cute! He looks just like his father." And he does! They are so similar. Even their acting is the same. There were parts of the movie where I swore I was watching Fresh Prince. :p Jaden Smith is a star on the rise! This movie showcased his talents. He has some big shoes to fill, but he has the talent to get there and go beyond; definitely. I had trouble understanding the Asian girl when she talked. Haha, I hardly ever hear that dialect spoken. ^^ I still don't understand why it was called "the 'Karate' Kid". Didn't he practice Kung Fu? speaking of which: I barely recognized Jackie Chan. I kept waiting for him to show up, and didn't realize that it was him until that whole fly-swatter scene. I felt like such a loser. XD He definitely knows how to get into character! This wasn't his best-- of course, I happen to think that he's at his best when he's a lead. Haha. I thought that certain parts were a bit tedious (not to mention cheesy), but it was an overall great film. x S
