The trailer for Waveriders which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on the January 28th. The film is set to be released in the UK on April 3, 2009, but the film has not been picked up for ditribution here in the U.S. Waveriders is narrated by Cillian Murphy.

Waveriders is the previously untold story of the unlikely Irish roots of the worldwide surfing phenomenon and today's pioneers of Irish big wave surfing. The story unfolds via the inspirational and ultimately tragic history of Irish/Hawaiian legendary waterman, George Freeth. Freet
