Twenty Five Hundred & One

Trailer

Upscale Font Trailer for Twenty Five Hundred & One, which screened at the 2009 Santa Fe Film Festival.

Teococuilco, birthplace of Oaxacan artist Alejandro Santiago, is a pueblo of grandparents & children. Like countless villages across the globe, there are no jobs, forcing working age people to leave. For 6 years, Alejandro sculpted 2,501 life-size ceramic Migrantes to commemorate his town and people. His “lost souls” speak to issues we must confront.
