John Searle, a stoic government agent, lost his daughter in a fire 7 years ago. Now he's being sent on a mission to execute the criminal who caused that same fire. Everything seems to be going according to plan, until John has a dream about his daughter being alive. Based on that dream, John decides to disobey his orders and break protocol by questioning the prisoner, Anna, before the execution.
