When 19-year-old Adam (Jack O'Connell - Harry Brown, This Is England) agrees to do a day's driving for his mum's dodgy boyfriend Peter (Peter Mullan), it takes him on a journey in the company of aging hit man Roy (Tim Roth)

After stalking their prey through the forests of Northumberland they carry out the job, but there is one big problem: there's a witness (Talulah Riley - St. Trinian's) to their crime. But things take an unexpected turn as she outwits the hit men and leads them on a dangerous chase across the North East. By the end of the day - if he lives that long - Adam will have learned a couple of valuable life lessons. Number one: never trust anyone. And number two: there is nothing remotely glamorous about being a killer.
