yeesh, totally forgot he made australia.
that movie was just...ugh, i don't think all the words in the websters dictionary could verbalize how bad that movie was.
seriously, she drowns.
in the middle of the desert.
i can just see the conversation baz had with the scriptwriters for australia:
baz: i always loved australia.
writers: right, we can set it in australia.
baz: i always used to play with barbies and pretend they were drowning.
writers: 0_o uh, baz? we're in a desert?

agree with flabby- when the trailer first starts, you can tell right away who made it.
the visuals look so sleek and alive.
i think i might actually like this movie.
