“The Freedom of Speech" sends a director of B films, tormented by his past, to the far corners of the world to meet four threatened artists (a dancer from Palestine, a painter from Cuba, a singer from Tibet and a poet from Zimbabwe) whose incredible lives inspire him to transform his old absurd films into stories about places where freedom and peace is just a story people dream of.
