trailer gave too much awayIt was a really good remake. Scary, but all the scares were pretty much given away in the two trailers that are floating around out there. Doesn't anyone know how to make a trailer that sets up the story without giving away all the good scares?

great traileryeah based on the trailer it will probably make a ton of money, it was very good. hopefully the movie can live up. unfortunately i doubt it, it showed the town blowing up in the trailer meaning the miltary nuked it, and it also showed the main characters escaping in a truck. end of story...pretty cliche

Love HorrorI think this remake really rocks as I am a big fan of Timothy Olymphant, I am happy to finally see him in a different role but this movie is so crazy that it still portrays Olymphant as a badass. I love these stories that **** with your mind. I mean what would have done in a similar situation? When you are forced to kill people you knew for years!

High Art FanPoor Radha Mitchell... She had such a great future, and now this...
Don't get me wrong, looks like a good enough horror movie (nothin' to write home about tho') but, IMHO, Radha deserved better.

Looks purty goodI think this movie is definitely worth seeing, based on this trailer. I absolutely loved the use of Mad World at the end. When it started playing my first thought was, "WIN."

SongBefore asking what the song is, look right under the video in the Trailer Tracks box. You'll look less stupid because then you won't comment asking about a song everyone knows about. :)

I dunnoI dunno. The original was a nice, cheesy film. Either this trailer is just cut in a weird way (very likely) or they have made some big changes to the film. The military was a big deal in the first movie, but it seems lesser here.
Would a 'serious' remake of a camp Seventies classic work? Also, how damn cliche do they have to be to use the Mad World song AGAIN? At least Timothy Oluyphant is in it - nice to see him in something again,
Oh, and Mad World was originally a Tears For Fears song...

Looks Good@ Kwipper: It could look familiar because it's a remake. Or how a lot of zombie movies take place.
Personaly I'm psyched for this. It looks like a truely scary zombie flick, which is kind of refreshing with all of the zom coms being the good zombie movies as of late.

hmmm@crazy: mother of tears was a Dario Argento film, romero was not involved in the least. Also, Romero only directed the 1973 original, not sure who is helming this remake.
all in all it looks fairly well done and is way above the level of most modern day horror remakes.

I like itIt seems pretty good. The plot can probably be guessed and the outcome for sure, but it still looks interesting.
by Muckseen | October 3, 2009, 2:53AM
usual rubbishlooks like the same drek we've had to shift through for years. When you can guess the ending of a film from the trailer, it's not worth watching.
by Kwipper | October 3, 2009, 2:31AM
This plot seems too familar.Just from the trailer, lets see if I can guess the plot of this movie.. cause I've seen this before...
A normal unsuspecting town gets some military experiment preformed on it which causes it's inhabinents to go crazy in a zombie-like state and start killing each other.
Then when things get too out of control, the military step in and start killing everybody to "cover-up" their mess, with the climax being that the entire town getting nuked off the face of the map.
