ColorsThe plot probably isn't anything like Fallout 3, but people who have played the game instantly recognized that the "color palatte" of the movie seems to be directly lifted from the game.

YukLooks like another movie flop, Denzel is not an action hero

Better Denzel Washington Hits Ahead...I like Denzel Washington in 'Deja-Vu,' 'The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3,' and 'American Gangster,' but not 'The Book of Eli.' I'd rather watch National Treasure 2 : Book of Secrets. I loved Gary Oldman in 'The Fifth Element,' 'The Professional, 'Batman Begins,' and 'The Dark Knight,' but not 'The Book of Eli.' And also Mila Kunis is better in Comedy-Related movies such as 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' & 'Extract,' and not like 'Max Payne,' 'Boot Camp,' or 'The Book of Eli.'
Look for Denzel in Spike Lee's Sequel 'Inside Man 2,'... and also in opposite roles with (possibly) Tom Cruise in the political-thriller 'The 28th Amendment,' scheduled to be relased in 2011 by 'Patriot Games' and 'Clear & Present Danger' director Philip Noyce.

made for Will smithI thought Will smith would have suited the part better then Denzel, usually Denzel plays a character in the action/thriller movies that are in todays world. Smith has done a few more futuristic movies and obviously the not too long ago I am legend

Never let reason stand in the way of a good rant..Spinxter said:
"If they had Denzel on board for I am Legend the script would have been better and they wouldn't have had to rename it nobody drew parallels to Omega Man"
Oh my god, you're kidding. Omega Man was based on the BOOK "I Am Legend", written by Richard Matheson in 1954. The movie with Will Smith is following the BOOK, Omega Man was so different from the script that it had to be renamed. I mean damn, three minutes of research would have told you that. Omega Man was loosely based on I Am Legend, not the other way around. Please, if you can't bother to verify what you say, don't speak. It causes the rest of us less headaches, and stupidity spreads.

wutWhat do you guys only live within the last 6 months? Are you all newborn babies? Post apocalyptic movies have been around for 30 years or more. It's good to see another come along. Though, without zany vehicles and a whiny teenage sidekick, this film may suffer. Go watch Exterminators from the Year 3000 or Cherry 2000 or something....

Looks GreatI know Will Smith cried lik a girl when he saw Denzel got this. If they had Denzel on board for I am Legend the script would have been better and they wouldn't have had to rename it nobody drew parralels to Omega man . WILL SMITH SUCKS!

Fallout 3Some of the comments on here about Fallout are dumb. Some are well reasoned. Let me just say that the advertising campaign DEFINATELY capitalized on the success of the recent Fallout entry. But the elements in this that are in Fallout are derived from a great many sources other than the game. The film would have to SERIOUSLY have a hardcore self-deprecating satirical sense of humor, and an even more obvious series of nods to 1950's America to truly be anything like Fallout people.

Fallout?I think the way the fights are its not like falllout. Plus the way they dress but the look and feel and eveything else is fallout.

HmmmLooks OK...also looks like a Fallout RipOff! All we need are some super mutants and a sawed off shotgun...
