The Adjustment BureauAlmost anything goes in Hollywood: It’s one of those rare industries which encourage tall tales and pushing the bounds of imagination. Sadly, this liberal state of mind invites the occasional bad idea. Enter The Adjustment Bureau. Based loosely on a 1958 short story by Philip K. ****, the film version never gets past its silly premise and struggles to a hurried and almost laughable conclusion.

okaythe taglines are simple but gave me goosebumps when i saw this trailer in the theatre, the melody is perfect because the romance and thrill of the movie is well expressed. without the love story, the fedoras and the dark-looking theme kind of remind me of The Box though, which was mediocre with a few awesome parts, also based on a short story. this movie seems like a genre the cinema needs though. romantic comedies have gotten dumber and dumber, horror movies are short and lack intensity, so it could become a nice refreshing rival of the decent comedies being written these days; romantic and thrilling dramas. modern comedies seem to have more brief but legit drama here and there. i don't know i think it lookds different from any movie i've heard about in a while, all i know is my friend and i talked about the trailer of this movie just as much as the movie we had seen that night while driving home.
good actors and an interesting plot that can attract any gender.

Very InterestedI'm a huge fan of Philip K. **** and will definitely give this a go, even if it's only loosely based on the original story. It looks beautiful and could be a very good movie. Everyone keeps comparing it to Dark City and there might be some similarities, but not by much.

In the MixMr.Nolfi definetly had been inspired by the visual style of Inception and the plot of Dark City.
For those who are interested ... Christopher Nolan had a good time watching "DREAMSCAPE" from 1984 before he gave birth to Inception. Nonetheless ... both might be worth watching.

LolLol, not really original. Took The Observers from Fringe, give them emotions, add love, take away those twisted experiments. Tada!

can't waitThat song they use in the trailer, "Surface of the Sun," is one of the most affecting songs I've ever heard... plus, the plot is based on a Philip **** story, which means it'll probably be quite cerebral.

Cool EnoughWhile I don't necessarily get it, there is definitely something unique enough here to warrant a viewing. Besides, I have become a big fan of Emily Blunt of late.

decentthe trailer was very good but the story looks semi-boring. he wants to stay with her even though it will mess up both their lives...psssh nothing original there, but the fact that this was a phillip k. **** story definitely gives this promise. also, damon's fedora looks retarded
