My friends and I have always been big fans of Charlize and now, Hemsworth, which are the two main reasons we will be watching it. I honestly could see several other girls who would have fit Snow White a lot more beautifully, but oh well. The imagery is gorgeous and it looks like it will be a very decent film.

This is not the Disney version but the actual Grimm's Tales version.... Makes me wonder how far they'll actually go with it because in the original Grimm's Tales, the Huntsman rapes Snow White first before attempting to turn her over to Queen Maeve

While I agree Stewart is mostly there for the Twilight crowd, she has had a few decent performances like the one with Dakota Fanning and also Panic Room... the rest of the time, she's a dud.

I didn't make the comment about Tim Burton, that was Apollo4. Get your comments straight.

im excited to see this. the action looks awesome, the cinematography looks epic. and the actors i think are gonna nail their roles, including stewart.

ya ya you can comment all you want. sure they could have gotten other actors that may have been a better choice. but i want to see her succeed in this film. it just goes to show that shes not gonna let twilight bring her career to an end. if she does this role well, i cant wait to see what else she does.

Charlize Theron definitely looks to be the winner as evil queens go. Sorry Julia Roberts. Maybe I'll change my mind once the "Mirror, Mirror" trailer is out.

I'm not a huge Kristen Stewart fan. I wonder if she's actually gonna show any other expression besides "lovesick damsel in distress" ... BUT, Charlize Theron is amazing. I will see it, if only for her.

to Brandon's comment, i totally agree that a multitude of other actresses could play snow white. why did they pick stewart? because they thought that would bring all the rest of her twi-heard with it, thus making any movie with stewart in it popular.
BTW, Maleficent is not the snow white villain, she's the villain for sleeping beauty (tho I can see where you got it mixed up. both are evil, beautiful queens who put the heroines to sleep). snow white's queen is just known as 'the queen'. just like the prince is just 'the prince' or 'prince charming.'

This movie has a LOT of promise, especially with Charlize Theron playing Maleficent and Hemsworth as The Huntsman. However....I can think of plenty of other actresses that could acurately depict Snow White better than Kristen Stewart ( Saoirse Ronan, Emma Stone, Mary Elizabeth Winstead). However, I think this movie will be amazing and it looks as if the story will be something to look forward to.

Tim Burton is not related to this movie in any substantial way. One of the producers of Alice in Wonderland is one of the four producers on this movie. The marketing is just trying to draw off the name of Alice in Wonderland because it made over a billion dollars worldwide.

I think you see the dwarves with the huntsman, they're following him around in a couple shots. BTW, was anyone else distracted by the Inception/Tron-like trailer music?

Let me correct myself. Burton left the production some time ago...my bad. Still, I'm not seeing any dwarfs cast on IMDB site. Give the dwarfs a brake, they need jobs too.

Looks nice. But since its a Tim Burton production he'll probebley replace the dwarfs with 7 versions of Deep Roy.

That was a pretty good trailer, but notice how they didn't have Kristen Stewart say a word in the trailer. Smart thinking on their part not to have her awkward sub par acting turn people off to the movie.

I'm not gonna lie, the description up top sounds terrible, however, that trailer was actually really good. Every scene with Charlize Theron looked great.

I did not expect that to look as intriguing as it did. I look forward to attending a screening!
