up with peoplei was recently a member of up with people and traveled to many different places bringing only what i can pray was at least a small scrap of hope to the people who were living there through helping out in their community, bringing an outside perspective to their homes and performing songs and dances from around the world in their local aditoriums. i am offended by anyone who would call this program a cult or even think to use the two words together in a sentence. the exeption to this is of course up with people is not and never has been a cult. generaly people tend to fear and hate what they dont understand, but is the fact that hundreds of young people gathered together to try to have a positive infleuence on the world that hard to belive. shame on everyone who would have such little faith in humanity.
