Late night talk show host Jack West (Kevin Nealon) is at wit’s end - his celebrity has tanked, his low-rated TV show is on the chopping block, and a private investigator (Tom Arnold) has explicit footage of his wife having an affair. Meanwhile, a pot-head across town sees his destiny in a late night infomercial hawking a get-rich scheme. With one step forward and two steps back, he encounters a couple of porn stars who dream of stardom, a Jewish drug lord with delusions of grandeur, a hot actress along for the ride, and a few Russian mobsters
