Meh!

Last night I saw the original Red Dawn, this remake is too gun ho. Also, Hemsworth accent sounds like it's dub or lip-sync. My question is what will Charlie Sheen think of the film.

Epic Fail

Really!! I know hollywood had lost it a while back with senseless remakes. To make one of a movie that makes as much sense as original is just outright inconceivable.

I knew they were gna vomit American Patriotism all over this. Granted I didn't expect it to ever live up to the original, but even when it was made during the cold war, the original RD wasn't screaming red white n blue.
It was about survival, vengeance, and brotherhood. You never heard Swayze mutter some garbage about freedom to inspire his would be soldiers, but payback and anger. Something a lil more honest and realistic.

Skeptical of the movie but it's nice to see some Aussie talent there with Hemsworth and Lucas plus there's Jeffrey Dean Morgan!
