Paul: Cute but No Cigar

Itâ€™s hard to find a science fiction film nowadays that doesnâ€™t make use of a blue or green screen, a special effects method that lets actors â€œinteractâ€ with CGI co-stars... Avatar leaps to mind as an example of the technology used properly to enhance the film. Unfortunately, folks like James Cameron donâ€™t grow on trees... leaving audiences with almost unfinished results like Greg Mottolaâ€™s Paul.
