Could be good

I actually think this could be a good movie. Tatum was actually a stripper. It is loosely based on his experience with that. The film was also co-financed by Soderbergh and Tatum so it wasn't made in the studio system, and is considered independent. I have high hopes.

Remember how Bill Murry told Vanity Fair he did Garfield becuase he thought the Coen brothers were attached? Maybe this is kinda like that for Channing Tatum. "OMG! I get to be directed by Stephen Souderberg!".

umm

anyone else think that for a soderbergh movie this seems kinda, well, mainstream?? i thought he was one of those directors who praises originality and low budget filmmaking......this looks like your tipical chick flick mixed with drama and stripping scenes. since it's soderbergh i'm gonna give it a try but hopefully this trailer doesn't do the film justice
