Paul is brokenhearted after his breakup with Mariana until he meets Sofi, a Canadian visiting Los Angeles to get away from her own troubled relationship. Paul immediately sees in her the hope of a new love.

Against all odds they become a couple and experience their first kiss, their first night together, their first fight, their first betrayals. What was once endearing and intimate quickly becomes a suffocating nuisance, and Paul and Sofi begin to realize just how different they are. So
