Jorma Taccone

Just a clarification for anybody who doesn't know who Jorma is, he is the writer/director who was also responsible for writing Hot Rod (he plays the younger brother) and most of the SNL digital shorts. He's hilarious.

Just saw it.

They just showed an advanced screening of this movie at my school. It was ****ing hilarious. I literally didn't stop laughing the whole time. Jorma Taccone, Wil Forte, Ryan Phillipe, and John Solomon stayed for a Q&A after which was equally hilarious. The scenes shown in this trailer aren't even close to the most rediculous scenes.

95% of the time, movies based on the SNL skit just are not funny at all. In fact, they're just insultingly stupid (Night At The Roxbury, Ladies Man, Superstar). But a couple manage to actually be funny (Wayne's World) and this looks like it could be one of the funny ones. It has a great supporting cast, and I too, have high hopes for this!

Why are people taking this film seriously? It looks hilarious! A lot of people were complaining about enterting Age information to watch it, and seem to forget that its a "RED BAND" trailer.

I was very skeptical about this movie since its based off an SNL skit, but the early positive test screening and this trailer makes me want to see it. I think it could possibly be the sleeper hit of 2010. Nice to see Val Kilmer doing a theatrical movie and not another direct-to-DVD crap
