What is the difference between Let the Right One In and Let Me In? Thanks..
by camartinez84 | August 12, 2010, 9:41PM
let the right one in
The Book was amazing. The original movie was decent. I fail to see how this will be any better.

laughing @ dart3rocks
some people cant stand subtitles and turn the movie off after 5 minutes?
well granted then that this movie is for them

AND ONLY THEM!
by u_nik13@yahoo,com.ph | August 7, 2010, 12:29PM
NO WAY!
BUT WHY?! I think there's no need for a remake! I've seen the original version of the movie, Let The Right One In just a few months ago. It was really good. This American version is just stupid And most of the scenes were just similar to the first one.. really??! come on. I feel the same way when I heard they were also going to have a remake of The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo trilogy, **** Americans!

...
Ok so I keep hearing "they shouldn't remake it", in very insane terms. Well first take into consederation that 1,) Most people do not even know about the original despite what you may here. It will bring more publicity 2.) You have not seen it yet so therfore you can not speak because you don't know how accurate it is. 3.) Some people cant stand sub-titles which means they watch the first 5mins and turn it off
4.)Read the book first, there is stuff that was left out in the sweddish version.
5.)The only thing that I have seen wrong (or heard technically) is I haven't heard the symphony backed soundtrack which I hope they will include =) Have a Nice Day (=

Stupid America.
Should leave Foreign films as foreign films...
The American version of Brothers was terrible and so was Quarentine(Direct rip off from rec.)

@griffin
I'm just suprised that no one will take a leap of faith. No I have seen the original and I loved it. I do agree that it's too soon to remake this but that fact is they are but I doubt it will fail to do the original justice. I guess we'll all have to wait and see.
by Griffin | July 28, 2010, 9:25PM
take it easy louielouie.

That said. I won't see this movie. I liked the original enough to not need to see this American-gratuity clone.
Hope it will fail and the Swedish movie remain one of the best vampire movies of all time.

How Much Do You Want To Bet?
How much do you wqant to bet that they are just marketing this as a conventional horror flick and it turns out that it is just as good (or maybe better) as the original? I have good faith in Matt Reeves and espically Chloe Moretz and the footage shown at Comic Con was very well recieved even by fans of the original Let The Right One In. So please everybody, SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!
by Aaron | July 28, 2010, 12:56PM
Well
Squeal! Squeal like a pig!... They chose a ****ty actress. It can't be a shot for shot remake because I doubt they're going to flash supposedly twelve year old vagina to the american audience. They're going to have to rewrite most of the characters because I could just see all the jocks and homophobes yelling "fag!" at the movie screen. Just F*** it lets just say its not a remake lets just call it the retarded cousin of the original and after it has its few moments in the spotlight lock it up back in it's dark closet where it belongs BECAUSE YOU TOUCHED YOUR SISTER IN HER BAD PLACE AND YOUVE BEEN A NAUGHTY BOY.
by ru4real | July 27, 2010, 4:33PM
why not
I know everyone is complaining that this is basically a shot by shot remake...... but I still want to check this out. I've never seen the original, so I'll give this a try
by a-parkman@live.com | July 27, 2010, 11:44AM
Soooo...
What exactly is Red Band about this? I honestly don't see how this can be classified as a Red Band trailer.
by T.K. | July 27, 2010, 5:28AM
Boooo!
For those who don't know: Let Me In is the closest translation from the book's title. Now, why are they trying to sell it as a jumpy, bloddier story? Sucks.
by Blue_Girl | July 27, 2010, 2:20AM
not again...
I hate remakes. This one's gonna suck big time. The reason they made this movie is MONEY... More blood or jump scenes don't make it scarier. This is really pathetic.
by Jrcjw | July 27, 2010, 1:33AM
WHats the point
Let the Right one in was Amazing? so is it that hard to read subtitles? Was this really needed?

by whistleblower9 | July 26, 2010, 11:39PM
chloe moretz
I loved the original, but this looks pretty kick-ass as well.
by KaGe | July 26, 2010, 11:09PM
why?
yeah I don't really get the name change, but I see why the remake is being done. I'm actually surprised this didn't happen closer to when "LTROI" was in theaters
by Griffin | July 26, 2010, 10:13PM
pathetic
Seems exactly as I expected. A complete copy of "Let the Right one In" with the exception of the stupid name change.
by Omnipro | July 26, 2010, 7:09PM
Too soon for a remake
Looks very close to the original which is great. They just repacked or localized for American audiences.
I may wait and rent this one or use a free movie ticket from my theaters rewards program,
by kenshiro | July 26, 2010, 6:47PM
cool
i liked the original one, and this dont look to bad either. seems scarier though...
