The song that plays for the trailer is called "Kings And Queens" sang by 30 Seconds To Mars. The movie Legend Of The Guardians is a beautifully animated movie about the owl world actually based on the book series, Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky. The story begins in a forest kingdom with the birth of a Barn Owl named Soren (voice by Jim Sturgess) who falls into the wings of evil minded owls. With the help of his new friends, Soren escapes and must find a way to bring peace back to their lands.

nice visuals but...

Visual Candy yes!, but story? Looks like a copy of Happy feet, timid protagonist child believes in somethign greater and nobody believes him. Rises to the top and people then look at him as a savior. bah if your gonna make a second movie, make it different.

Yes and No

Visually, this movie looks spectacular. But I don't know about the story/concept. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, the movie looks like it's worth it just for the incredible animation.

i like it

well, i've never heard of this particular series of books, although as a selliing point it almost seems irrevelant. the story seems to be one that everyone can identify with, and the animation looks 100% top notch. even though my wife and i don't have young kids anymore, we both still love to see animated movies, and this one will be on our list to see.

GUARDIANS OF GA'HOOLE

The name of the song is KINGS AND QUEENS. If fits so well with the trailer. I love the song. Ny stepbrother read the books when he was younger and said they were good. So i couldn't wait to see the trailer. It looks so great.

The animation looks positively gorgeous, and the music was a perfect choice. This is the first time in a long time I've felt moved by the trailer for a kids movie, Somebody did a fantastic job.

I get a major old school animation vibe from this one. Makes me think of some of the stuff Don Bluth was doing back in the day. I'm looking forward to it.
