Trailer for the documentary Last Chance.

Last Chance follows five asylum seekers who have come to Canada from their native countries in order to escape homophobic violence. As they each anxiously await a decision in their refugee claims, friends, lawyers and support groups mobilize to get their cases heard at a time when Canada’s tradition of openness is coming under threat by the Conservative government. Fearful of being deported back to their former lives, they work hard to remain hopeful and do their best to integrate into a strange society.
