soo cute
I can't stop watching it --- could she be more adorable ? love the little head movement to avoid the bullet when she is running -- music could not be better
by waxedpants | April 1, 2010, 8:16PM
Awesome
I can't beleive how awesome this looks
by maxm | March 1, 2010, 7:45AM
music
The song is a cover of The Banana Splits theme. It's by The ****ies, a late 70s LA punk band - a kind of west coast Ramones.
It's featured on the expanded CD release of their album The Incredible Shrinking ****ies.
And this trailer is probably the best use of that song I have heard. This movie looks brilliant!
by Cammy | February 24, 2010, 9:05PM
Cool
Not nearly as offensive as everyone seems to make out - I imagined her saying "****" hundreds of times!
by small45 | February 24, 2010, 9:30AM
Obscene! I love it!
Not since Taxi Driver and Pretty Baby have I seen underage girls in such sexually inappropriate on-screen material. I can't wait to see it.

P.S. - Moral "Majority", eat your hearts out
by Orgyofdeath | February 20, 2010, 9:01PM
Retardiculous!
This may very well be the best movie trailer i've ever seen, ever!
by DaVeO | January 20, 2010, 11:50AM
Hit-Girl
That Hit-Girl red band had me in tears. I'm looking more forward to this then even Iron Man.

Great Trailer
I don't understand the dislike of Cage or the music, both are perfect for me. The trailer is A material and the movie looks to be as well.
by radarray | January 17, 2010, 10:33AM
WTF???
Who is this movie aimed at?
by Ruined Saint | January 14, 2010, 3:02PM
The Song
The music from the second half is, indeed, "The Tra-La-La Song (One Banana, Two Banana)", the theme song from the Banana Splits Show. I *believe* this version is on the album Saturday Morning, a compilation album of various bands covering theme songs from old cartoon shows. If so, then the artists are Material Issue with Liz Phair.
by Frodo | January 9, 2010, 12:00PM
Nick Cage
Looks like Nick Cage will bring back some of what he had in Raising Arizona....should be great stuff..
by lazygarfield | January 9, 2010, 9:16AM
Loved it!
Oh my God, this preview rocked my world!!!! Finally understood the Hit-Girl hype now, can't wait to see the movie!!
by AQueryan | January 5, 2010, 12:42PM
acadddyfordaddy and BrockEffinSamson...
It's WOULD'VE not would OF. It's a contraction of WOULD HAVE. Pick up a frackin' book and read why don'tcha?

Oh, and that trailer most definitely kicks ass.
by Wordsmi999 | January 3, 2010, 1:17PM
I am so there!
Parents associations might protest, but there's something really cool about a little girl just letting the bad guys have it. The music rocks too!
by Kortum22 | December 30, 2009, 7:49PM
Yes
Looks really sweet

Hit-Girl Trailer for Kick Ass
Loved the trailer... and as for the music, I thought it was fitting; an 11-year old girl raining down death and destruction while a punk rock cover of the Banana Splits theme played in the background. Personally, I am hoping that the song is on the soundtrack if it hasn't been already released.
by MvBuff | December 28, 2009, 8:08AM

by Aaron | December 23, 2009, 10:50PM

This looks bad ass. The music was a good choice. This movie looks deliciously twisted.

More!
Reminds me of anime but awesome!
by whistleblower9 | December 23, 2009, 8:59AM

Looks awesome. Wahhh, Cage has a part in it, wahhh, he's going to ruin it. Grow up. I think the music for the trailer was perfect. Should be a kick-ass flick.

Ah...
I see she is a student of Gunkata...
by Noodles2go | December 23, 2009, 12:26AM
Better than Iron Man 2?
Every clip I see of hit girl and big daddy is pure gold. Need to see what Kick Ass and Red Mist can bring to the screen.

@Bring on the protesting parents... "I would of given the clip an A if it weren't for the music."

Sorry...would it sound better with some ****ty rap metal behind it...ugh. Just cause bodies hit the floor doesn't mean the song needs to play too.

Agreed,

There are some musical arrangements I don't like. But the first half is good.

Really nice redband trailer to showcase Hit-Girl. I would of given the clip an A if it weren't for the music.
