holy mother...awful.is it just me or does the lead character boy look like he should be in Napolean Dynamite? I hate the dumb ass look on his face he has in all the shots. This just looks like a waste of film.

bravo master revieweryes, this looks utterly ridiculous.
yes, all fairy tales are getting modernized (Rapunzel got the Disney treatment, Red Riding Hood got Amanda Seyfried, and we currently have about 30 Snow White movies in the making...) and there's nothing you can do but whine and gripe about it so get over it.
(please note that heavy sacrasm is included with my next statements)
But you gotta admit, a modern version of Moby D*ck would be fairly mindblowing.
They could call it 'Mega Moby' or 'Mobytron'. And he could be this fish/machine hybrid that shoots missiles out of his blowhole and fire out of his mouth.
It'll be a movie of such epic bullsh*t proportions that no one will be able to resist it.
Take note Michael Bay.
I'm counting on you to forever tarnish the name of Moby D*ck.
Make it happen.
