Trailer
Trailer for Insidious.
The movie tells a different kind of haunted house story, one in which a family trying to escape a haunting and save their son discover—it's their son, and not their house, that's being haunted.

Hollywood fails at HorrorScary? hardly. Try High Tension, Wolf Creek or Martyrs for some real scares.

" Insidious " ? HA!!The only thing creepy about this trailer - is The Metronome clicking, again and again...reminded me of those Horrifying Violin Lessons, I was forced to take as a child.

InsisiousDC Film Review - You do know that this movie is nothing like Paranormal Activity, which you should also know was not the first haunted house movie, nor will it be the last.Obviously you're naming yourself a reviewer so you'll try to impress us with your long winded opinion on a film which was actually decent for its budget size and cast. Not to mention that is was released in March, so having little to no competition on the market made the film a financial success.
As for the "dumbest/silliest endings in recent memory" you should really give the film more credit than you have, it gave a twist to the ending, something which you should know since you have already stated that the director is known for at least 2 films which end with a twist.
If you're going to give a bad review, at least make decent comparisons and bring up aspects of the film which make sense and can be proven. Do your research next time, I hope for the reader's sake this bad review is a one-off, otherwise you'll be paradgint your "expert opinion" around in the wrong way.

InsidiousThank you Paranormal Activity. Hollywood’s copycat syndrome has everyone and their uncle scaring up movie ideas that go bump in the night. Everyone this time around is James Wan (Saw and Death Sentence) whose latest directing stint, Insidious is one cheap thrill after another... culminating in one of the dumbest/silliest endings in recent memory.
