Tomas (Ondrej Vetchý), a respected physician, finds himself embroiled in a scandal when Olinka (Anna Linhartová), a teenaged patient, accuses him of molesting her. While the disturbed girl has taken certain liberties with the truth in the past, there are some damning details contained in these allegations that make them impossible to dismiss. As his once-idyllic professional and personal lives descend into chaos, Tomas must also contend with an investigating police detective (Hynek Cermák) who has a very personal interest in putting him away.
